What inspired you to create RARE SkinFuel, & how does your personal journey shape the brand's mission?
The Inspiration Behind RARE SkinFuel
My inspiration came from a pivotal moment in my life—a time of change that pushed me to redefine myself. I saw it as an opportunity to create a new identity rooted in my passion. It truly felt like a "now or never" moment. I was 36 years old at the time and made a promise to myself: to give it everything I had for the next 10 years.
RARE SkinFuel was born not just as a brand, but as a reminder to my daughter—and to anyone facing life’s transitions—that an ending doesn’t mean your life is over. It’s a chance to learn, grow, and create a new identity that reflects who you truly are. The key is always to center your journey around your passion.

The Story Behind RARE SkinFuel’s Creation
The story behind the name “RARE SkinFuel” is actually quite funny. When I first started, I didn’t have a roadmap or business plan—I just knew I had to take that first step and figure out the rest along the way. So, I went on Domain.com and searched for available URLs with the words “RARE” and “Skin.”
Unfortunately, RARESkin.com was already taken, so I started brainstorming what else might resonate. That’s when I landed on “Fuel,” and it clicked—it made perfect sense. Just like anything in life, for things to work and move forward, you need fuel.
Now, the name has taken on a deeper meaning for me and my team. It’s become part of our language—I often tell them, “I’m feeling fueled about this!” It’s a reminder that passion and energy are what drive us, both in our work and in life.
